Onion skin blush. Fine bead. Clean nose with deep red fruit notes. Strong very clean palate; big wine with red fruits, good acid, and delicious pinot character and good dosage. Overall though it’s a touch one-dimensional and lacks yeast flavours. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Vertus, Champagne, France 17/20 [tasted 07-01-2012]   Advertisements
