Bright clear red, no age showing. brambles on the front, then pepper and black berries/fruit and plum – but way too hot. Hint of toasty yeast, stone fruits and pinot character. A touch of sweetness on the palate but acid almost balances; stone fruits (white peach and apricot) and white florals. Long clean finish.
